The Graduation Process in BU+ is optional. Everyone has different goals and reasons why they start their companies, some students may enroll into BU+ just with the desire to learn business and earn enough profits to support their families. There could be other students who are looking to disrupt entire industries and achieve global prestige and fame, each individual has different life context and goals.

This is why, there are different levels of "business success" and it is defined by each individual. Having said this, we at BU+ have to set some levels of standards the best way we can to mark and analyze the knowledge, skills and capabilities of the individual when it comes to being a professional business leader.

During your career you will experience our standardized Levels of Business Owners and you will decide the level of achievement you want to reach with us. If throughout your enrollment you decide you want to graduate from BU+, you will have to submit yourself and your company under scrutiny and meet our BU+ Graduation Success Criteria Framework.

The BU+ Graduation Committee is the party responsible for this evaluation process and to use this framework effectively by; reviewing each case objectively, trying to find balance between the student's life context, their business goals, the company they've built, and a good standard of effort, success, excellence and fulfillment.

Evaluation Focus: Individual's Knowledge, Goals & Skills alongside with their Company’s Status & Performance.

The BU+ Graduation Committee is responsible for conducting all evaluations using:

Student's Performance, Knowledge & Skills Assessment: proof he/she can face any challenge as a Business Leader.
Company's Performance, Status Reports & Due Diligence: This includes an overall assessment of the entire Business and Company. Including Financial statements, operational KPIs, and growth metrics.

Key areas of the evaluation may include a balanced, weighted or personalized assessment of some, all, or different factors as the ones shown next:

Business Metrics

Revenue: The business has demonstrated consistent revenue growth and a minimum threshold of $X quarterly (adjusted to benchmark standards).
Profitability: The Company has demonstrated positive net profit margin for at least three quarters and reach a minimum threshold of $X in accumulated profits. (Defined by benchmark standards).
Customer Base & Satisfaction: A healthy, growing customer base with measurable customer satisfaction metrics.
Amount of Products or Services Delivered: Successfully delivering quality offerings with proven market fit.

Team and Operational Efficiency

Team Size and Infrastructure Efficiency: A well-defined, competent, and cohesive operations.
Self-Sufficient Operations: The company can operate independently, with minimal reliance on the owner.

Strategic Evaluation

Leadership Skills: The founder demonstrates strong leadership, decision-making, and adaptability skills.
Vision and Strategy: Clear and actionable long-term goals with measurable milestones.

Ethics, Behavior & Moral Impact

Ethics: The company adheres to ethical practices, and gives a positive impact in the customer's life.
Negative Impact Avoidance: No major legal, societal, or operational controversies.

Scalability and Exit Potential

Scalability Readiness: The business model, operations, and technology are scalable for growth stages.
Exit Potential: Basic preparation for optional exit strategies.

Graduation Criteria Decision.

To graduate, all applicants must achieve:

1. The completion of the program activities and stages with proven business knowledge & skills, either by collecting all BU+ Diamonds or by passing the BU+ Business Acumen Final Test & Assessment.

2. Approval by the Graduation Committee, based on a weighted evaluation of the above factors, the company's overall status and the leader knowledge & skills.

If approved, graduates will participate in a ceremony marking their incredible achievement and receive a graduation package which includes: Diploma Certificate, Plaque & Trophy.

Eligibility: Open & Ready to Begin. Made for all aspiring business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals or innovators.

No specific academic background is strictly required; we do value resilience and a growth mindset. If you are thinking about becoming an entrepreneur or business owner and having a company, you are by definition smart and above average. But, we do expect at least a completed high school with the intelligence and strong will to be in business. Also, although in theory is not necessary, we prefer the previous completion of a college or university degree in any field/level as the program has parts that will feel intense and life challenging for students who even hold an MBA/PhD.
